The U.S. Government shutdown shows no sign of ending. Donald Trump is digging his heels in, and the Democrats clearly aren’t going to budge.
In an effort to end the stalemate, Trump gave his first national address from the Oval Office. And he used it to beg for support for the border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.
The idea of a physical barrier between the two countries is ridiculous. It won’t change a thing except cost the U.S. billions of dollars to erect.
Trump cleverly reframed his argument for the wall as being about stopping the humanitarian crisis. Even though he’s consistently shown a lack of humanity.
