Donald Trump has visited Mexico and met with President Pena Nieto. This was a rather controversial visit given Trump’s opinions on Mexicans.
In the past Trump has called Mexicans criminals and rapists, and suggested he would not only deport any Mexicans living illegally in the U.S., but build a wall to stop any more migrating across the border. Oh, and Mexico is going to pay for that wall, somehow.
This is all bullshit, obviously. He could ramp up efforts to deport illegal immigrants, but the wall is never going to happen, and Mexico certainly won’t be paying for it.
Trump toned down the rhetoric when he was in Mexico itself, before later doubling down on it in Arizona. So, not only is he bonkers, he also has no backbone.
