This video shows Eddie Murphy being interviewed by Extra TV. The most interesting aspect of the video for fans of celebrity culture is the fact that Paige Butcher is seen standing in the background.
Butcher is Murphy’s new girlfriend. She’s an Australian model who is 33-years-old, which is young compared to the 51-year-old Murphy. Still, age gaps don’t seem to bother celebrities as much as they do ordinary people.
She clearly isn’t the most vocal of people, hanging back and barely even reacting to what Murphy says through the interview. Shamefully he doesn’t even mention her… which must hurt.
Murphy used the interview to joke that he’s retired. But it clearly was meant as a joke. He also briefly mentions the Beverly Hills Cop television show he’s producing.
