Edward Woodward Tribute Video | The Equalizer & The Wicker Man Actor Dies At 79

Edward Woodward was a classic British actor well known for many roles. He was most well known for the TV series’, Callan and The Equalizer, and the cult film, The Wicker Man – the original not the terrible remake.

Woodward died today after having suffered several illnesses in recent months, including pneumonia. Woodward also He underwent triple-bypass heart surgery in 1996 and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2003.

Edward Woodward started out as a Shakespearean actor before becoming a more mainstream actor, and becoming famous in America as well as the U.K.

This video isn’t a bona fide tribute video, having been uploaded a couple of years ago, but it contains footage of The Wicker Man and is humorous to boot.

Woodward was a great actor who has left a good back catalog of film and TV work. He’ll be fondly remembered and well-regarded for years to come.
