Spider-Man was the character who kickstarted the reinvigoration of the genre, with Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi bringing Spidey to the big screen in the early-2000s.
The character has been rebooted a couple of times since then, and he’s now back for a third incarnation in the modern era. So, is Spider-Man: Homecoming actually any good?

The critics are pretty much all agreed on Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s not perfect, but it’s damn good, mainly as a result of being more fun and frivolous than previous Spidey films.
