In 2015, Square Enix announced that it was remaking Final Fantasy VII. This was THE RPG that changed everything, as it turned a generation of gamers onto the genre.
Since then, all has been quiet on the Final Fantasy VII Remake front. With gamers left to assume development is continuing despite the lack of any official announcements.
However, Square Enix has now hit us with the first proper trailer for the Final Fantasy VII Remake, and the game is looking very good indeed.
We get to see the core characters we love, some of the famous cutscenes brought up to date, and a glimpse at the fighting system. Suffice to say the Final Fantasy VII Remake is looking sweet!
