I really enjoyed The Life Of Pi, both the movie and the book it was based on. But clearly not everyone felt the same way about Ang Lee’s epic cinematic experience.
This video shows the latest in the ‘Everything Wrong With…’ series from Cinema Sins, which seeks to point out all the flaws from mainstream movies.
I’ve liked some of these videos, but this one doesn’t quite land the blows. Some of the technical flaws are fair enough, and the tiger dragging the goat through the bars is a very obvious mistake.
However, the rest of The Life Of Pi stands up to scrutiny, especially as what happens at sea is merely the remembrances of one person, so no one is supposed to believe it completely.
