Snapchat has grown massively popular by keeping things simple. But with the latest update, Snapchat has added new layers of messaging to its app.
The new Snapchat update adds new chat features. You can click on someone’s name to start a written conversation, and when you both leave the messages will disappear.
Or, more interestingly, you can start a video chat which requires you to keep your finger on the screen at all time. Remove it and the video chat instantly ends.
Whether text messaging and video chatting will kill or cure Snapchat remains to be seen. The jury is out for the time being.
