Fans of Fargo, the cult movie from the Coen Brothers, are in for a treat with the new Fargo TV series from FX.
The characters and actors are slightly different, but the atmosphere and dark humor remain well and truly in place.
Fargo is an FX original, and takes place over the course of 10 episodes. The change in format means the characters can be explored in greater depth.
Allison Tolman plays the police officer, Martin Freeman plays the bumbling salesman, and Billy Bob Thornton plays the criminal idiot.
As someone who loved the film version of Fargo, I’m going to be watching the TV version of Fargo. And I recommend you do the same.
