And here I thought I could not feel any less inclined to go see Baz Lurhmann’s Australia movie. Lo and behold…
It’s quite mild to say that Australians weren’t exactly impressed with the movie. Those who saw it mostly shrugged and told those who hadn’t seen it not to expect anything particularly moving.
Of course, I stopped being interested whatsoever when I heard that test audiences ‘didn’t like’ seeing Hugh Jackman die at the end so the ending was changed.
Ugh! Harden up and go for the story people.
Anyway, I’m not going to see it, rent it, whatever. But I will enjoy other people making fun of it.
