Gotta catch ’em all. Nintendo has made a fortune from the Pokemon phenomenon over the years, and now Google wants a piece of the action.
In case you hadn’t already guessed, Google Maps Pokemon is an April Fools’ Day Prank; one of many played on the Internet by the peeps at Google.
The suggestion is that Pokemon are real and hiding among us. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is capturing all of the pesky Pokemon.
Perhaps those who do locate and catch all of the Pokemon will be invited to Google HQ for their efforts, but make no mistake about it, there is no job titled Pokemon Master.
