International comedy festivals are a fantastic way to discover hilarious comedians from all over the globe. I hadn’t heard of Britain’s Jimmy Carr before watching this clip from the Montreal comedy festival, but I won’t forget him in a hurry.
Ordinarily I’m not a fan of comedians who spout clever line after clever line without any cohesive narrative. But Jimmy does it so well that I just can’t complain.
The combination of his witty words and serious British personality is priceless. It’s probably not politically correct to make jokes about sexual harassment or dwarves, but it is hysterically funny.
