I wonder how many times they had to rehearse this scene until they could do it without screwing up and without laughing.
This is one of my favourite parts of Uncle Buck, though there are many great moments to choose from.
There is a rumor going around that Hollywood is considering making an Uncle Buck remake. Honestly? I don’t think it will sell.
Some people will check it out for curiosity, but it’s not going to be a big thing. Nobody can step into the shoes of someone like John Candy and expect to make a big thing of it.
At least, I don’t think so.
