Who knew taxes could be so funny?
This video is from a 2008 contest, but it is a good one. You certainly don’t have to watch the whole thing – you can stop at about three minutes unless you are really interested in listening to the winner’s phone call – but it is worth watching.
From what I have found looking around, TurboTax runs contests nearly every tax season as a marketing ploy. I’m not sure what the contest or prize is for 2009, but the winner of the TurboTax TaxLaugh won $10k, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
I just tried to get into the TurboTax website and it said the server is too busy. Big surprise.
