Chances are, most of the news you heard about the 2008 Republican National Convention involved the many protesters. I’m not a Republican myself, but had I known Triumph the insult comic dog was going to be there, I would have attended for the comedy.
Just try to find the colored people. I dare you.
It always amazes me how one little puppet dog can cause so much disturbance among the correct crowds. The best insult has to be when he says that Joe Lieberman was “born with the face of a Keebler Elf.”
On a side note, you can clearly see that a frizzy-haired guy with glasses is the puppet master of Triumph at the 2:28 mark. I always imagined the voice behind Triumph to be a much cooler looking guy, but then again all the best comics are dorks.
