Giant Titanosaur Found In Argentina Video | The Biggest Dinosaur That Ever Lived

24 sec read

The largest dinosaur fossil has been found in Argentina. Paleontologists are currently excavating the bones of this Titanosaur, which is thought to have lived during the Cretaceous Period 95 million years ago.

It’s thought that this creature was a herbivore who walked on four legs. It would have weighed around 80 tonnes, the equivalent of 14 African elephants.

Its size was phenomenal, as it would have stood 20 meters in height and 40 meters in length. Which is pretty hard to imagine.

The site where this possible new record holder has been found was discovered by accident when a farm worker stumbled over a bone. It’s believed the remains of seven dinosaurs are buried in the spot.
