The 2011 Glastonbury Festival came to an end last night (Sunday, June 26) with an amazing performance from Beyonce. But before all that there was mud, glorious mud.
There is always mud at Glastonbury. Without exception. I mean during the annual festival, of course, not the place itself. That many people trudging around means the slightest bit of rain and mud is produced.
And England is abundant with rain. Even when it’s hot and sunny as it is at the moment, a shower can come and go just to ruin any barbecue or event you may have planned.
I expected Beyonce to blow. Not only is she not really my thing, she was an unusual choice for Glasto. But she pulled something amazing out of the bag, possibly even outdoing her hubby Jay-Z from two years ago.
