I have to admit: when I first heard that a new show was coming out called Gossip Girl, I rolled my eyes. What a ridiculous name for a television series.
After doing some research, though, I found that this show reeks of clever writing and realistic characters.
These characters are gorgeous and seemingly perfect, but at a second glance, they have flaws just like the rest of us. The drama is thick, which is always a good thing.
The MySpace Fan Page features music from the show, which makes me see-saw about liking the soundtrack. Peter Bjorn & John’s track “The Old Folks” is killer, but the presence of Hanson on the playlist makes me flinch.
To get some cool behind the scenes You Tube Videos and interviews, head on over to Gossip Girl Central on YouTube. Leighton Meester’s interview in particular is impressive. The actress is well-spoken and seems very down to earth.
