Most fake trailers usually disappoint, but once in a while there’s always one that makes you scratch your head in amazement. In the same fashion that the fake Thundercats trailer was made, this Green Lantern one was created.
If I didn’t watch so many movies, I’d easily mistake this video for a real preview.
The man you see playing Hal Jordan is really Nathan Fillion from the TV showFirefly. Using Adobe After Effects, various scenes from the Planet of the Apes, The Lord of the Rings, Fantastic Four, and Dragonball Evolution are given a shade of green.
My favorite edit has to be the one at 1:41 where the green hand slaps the daylights out of a store owner in Men In Black.
