The star of the new film “Despicable Me 2” was here for the very first time! It’s not every day Ellen interviews a cartoon character in person! How the hell did they manage this one???
Well, it’s a shame how under-appreciated he is. And yet, it’s amazing how well he can pull off the whole living cartoon thing. Steve Carell earned the respect of thousands of fans by putting on a masterfully convincing performance of an animated character on live television.
I’m sure plenty of viewers out there were racing to their computers or a Redbox to find that darn good movie for after watching this. Kids aren’t the only ones with a childish sense of humor and it’s not embarrassing for grown adults to want a little wholesome comedy not involving nudity or vulgarity every now and again.
So why wait till you have kids? Go out and see an animated film while you’re still alive and kickin’. No one will fault you for it. Just bring your significant other along or rent it if you’re single. It’s guaranteed to make you smile.
