As you’re no doubt aware by now trouble kicked off in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend. On the one side were the right-wing fraternity fighting for white rights. And on the other were people preaching love, not hate.
Sadly, someone died in the maelstrom, with Heather Heyer being run over by someone driving a Dodge Challenger.
This video shows CBS talking about the incident, which left one person dead and others injured. The video footage is absolutely shocking.
Regardless of your views on the current state of America, we should all mourn Heather Heyer. She died fighting injustice, and hopefully her death will inspire change for the better.
