Mitchell Guist, the star of Swamp People on The History Channel, has passed away after collapsing on a boat. He is survived by his brother Glenn.
Swamp People is a reality TV show on The History Channel that follows Cajun alligator hunters as they take out gators during the hunting season.
Mitchell Guist was one of the cast. He and his brother lived a subsistence lifestyle, eating off the land and bartering their skills mending boats for other essentials.
Guist sadly died after collapsing in a boat. This video shows Swamp People Executive Producer Brian Catalina paying tribute to Mitchell, who was just 47-years-old.
