Christmas carols are boring, especially when you’ve been earing them for at least one month out of every year for several decades. Which is why parodies are so popular, especially on YouTube.
The problem is that there are so many Christmas carol parodies knocking about at the moment that it’s hard to sort the wheat from the chaff. But this, THIS, is it… the best Christmas carol parody ever performed.
OK, so it’s not meant to be taken seriously. Or at least I assume it isn’t. If it is an actual attempt at writing a parody of Jingle Bells then it sucks. But if, as I suspect, it’s a satire on the plethora of crappy parodied online, then it’s genius.
The strange thing is that even if you watch it as a legitimate parody I guarantee you’ll laugh at least once. Whether at the lyrics or at the actions designed to augment them.
