Someone needs to give this parent an award for even dreaming this idea up. Not only is it very pretty footage, but it’s cost-effective. A video like this really makes me wonder what NASA is doing with all of their money.
Apparently he isn’t the only one doing this little science project- there are others sending cameras to space with FAA permission. If any geeks out there want to try it yourself you’ll have to check out the “unmanned free balloons” clause here.
