How To Turn Blockbuster Movies Into Indie Flicks Video | Patton Oswalt’s ‘Indie-izer’

If you, like me, can’t help but watch populist blockbuster movies even though you know they’re crass, shallow excuses for art, then the Indie-izer could solve all your problems.

The Indie-izer by Patton Oswalt is a method by which all the biggest blockbusters can be turned into indie flicks. This means you get the plot of the blockbuster but with added artistic coolness.

Oswalt demonstrates the Indie-izer by turning Gravity, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Thor: The Dark World, and Iron Man 3 into indie films. All of which I’d watch.

The warning not to use the Indie-izer on an existing indie film is genius. As it ends up being an unwatchable pile of garbage. Otherwise known as a David Lynch film.
