Cats are surprisingly flexible and agile. Assuming they’re fit and healthy they can jump on fences, climb trees, and squeeze themselves through small gaps.
But just how low can cats go? This video shows an experiment exploring how flat cats can make their bodies in order to fit through small gaps.
The answer is very flat. And that’s using some slightly overweight cats with bellies on them. And that’s me being kind to them.
The truth is cats hate being locked out of rooms they’re used to visiting. So they’ll obviously do everything they can to find a way in. Even if it’s quite uncomfortable.
