Ken Bone is a classic example of someone enjoying their five minutes of fame. Unfortunately, the media built this guy up only to known him down again days later.
This video shows H3H3 Productions interviewing Ken Bone on his overnight fame, and the way in which websites and newspaper threw him under the bus for a couple of old Reddit comments.
For the uninitiated, Bone asked a question during one of the presidential debates. For some reason, people took him to their hearts, and a living meme was born.
Unfortunately, it all went horribly wrong when Bone did a Reddit AMA, and journalists scoured his comments for dirt they could throw at him. He’s essentially just a normal guy, but that’s not how some chose to report it.
