Microsoft has releases Internet Explorer 9, finally. And according to all the reviews I’ve read and watched, IE9 is pretty damn good. Good enough to revert from Firefox, Chrome, or Opera though?
There was a time, back in the deep and distant past, when every single one of us with a PC hooked up to the Internet would use Internet Explorer as our Web browser of choice. Then along came better alternatives and IE’s market share started to drop.
With Internet Explorer 9, Microsoft hopes to regain some ground from its challengers, and most reviewers agree that Internet Explorer 9 is a huge step in the right direction.
However, as good as it is, I’ve not been persuaded to give up on Firefox. By all means download IE9 and give it a go, but I suspect many will stick with Firefox or Chrome if they’ve already made the switch.
