This video shows James Corden’s acceptance speech after he won the Best Actor award for his role in One Man, Two Guvnors. Suffice to say he lays it on thick.
What’s strange is that Corden has become something of a pariah in his native U.K. because he was at one time on television all the bleeding time. So we’re thankful he’s now on stage instead.
I’ve seen Corden act in several things and have never actually rated him. But perhaps he’s better in One Man, Two Guvnors. Perhaps he took acting lessons beforehand.
Good luck to him, but please America, keep him over there. I doubt he’ll want to move back now that he’s found fame in the States, which might not be a bad thing.
