If you liked Requiem for a Dream and/or Black Swan you’re going to love Mother!, the new movie from Darren Aronofsky.
As you can see from the trailer, this is a really creepy horror film which seems to reveal its true nature slowly.
Jennifer Lawrence is the main attraction here, with Javier Bardem supporting. Add in Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer and you have a really stellar cast.
This short trailer for Mother! is enough to leave me feeling a little unsettled. So I can only assume the full film will keep me awake at nights.
Mother! opens in movie theaters on September 15th.
