This video of John Fogerty on The Late Show with David Letterman features a song that rips our dear president a new one. John Fogerty has always been one of my favorite artists, but he just earned infinite respect in my book.
Never mind the fact that this song is reminiscent of the Creedence sound I’ve missed so badly. If you listen to the lyrics you’ll see that there’s no beating around the bush here (no pun intended). Fogerty wrote this song to tell in no uncertain terms how wrong Bush and his cohorts are about the war in Iraq.
Three words: Fogerty for President!
