John Wall has won the 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, beating Ben McLemore to the crown. Wall managed to win by completing a reverse slam dunk over the head of Washington Wizards mascot G-Man.

Wall celebrated by doing the NaeNae, which this middle-aged blogger is assured is a new dance craze.

Wall apparently got the idea for the dunk from a fan on Twitter, who suggested he try and pull off one that hadn’t previously been attempted in the competition.

It certainly was an impressive slam dunk by Wall, as he managed to climb extremely high and pack so much movement into a short amount of airtime.
