This video shows a Korean lady singing My Way in a bar. Or at least that’s how it starts out. Before long attention turns to the drummer who, well, has a rather unique playing style.
This drummer is actually already something of an Internet legend, having been brought to a wider audience by a video showing his unique style several years ago. But now he’s back.
The drummer’s name is Kwon Soon Keun, and he is the subject of a documentary titled A Drummer’s Passion. The filmmaker is now hoping to make a feature, hence the new video.
This is a strange because he clearly isn’t the best drummer in the world. However, he loves what he is doing, and puts so much enthusiasm into his performances that’s it makes for addictive viewing.
