Well, at least Dr. Sanjay Gupta can go up against Michael Moore with decent patience and civility. Whether that will carry over to his possible new title as surgeon general remains to be seen.

Also according to the above mentioned link, Dr. Gupta has a long list of service in not only university settings but in general news and breaking (September 11th, Hurricane Katrina) news as well.
Mind you, I’m already at a certain level of impressed with anyone who can perform brain surgery.
