Liam Styles Chang Video | “Canadian Idol’s” Magic Moment

Liam Styles Chang delivered the most surprising performance on Monday night’s Canadian Idol episode, packaging up some old school soul with a burst of pop punk.

With his too-long streaked hair and street clothes, you’d expect Liam to deliver a punk-inspired performance. But no one expected him to belt out The Drifters classic, “This Magic Moment.”

Perhaps more shocking than this unexpected combination, is that Liam Styles Chang actually managed to pull it off to deliver the performance of the night.

While Sass Jordan seemed more concerned with Liam’s cutie-pie good looks, the other judges were impressed by his originality and stage presence.

Whether the voting public cares more about his face than his musicality remains to be seen. Whatever the case, it looks like Liam Styles Chang will sail through to the next round.

Liam has an amazing voice…screw the judge who was concerned about his “cutie pie good looks”…I believe that he will go very far throughout the show. BTW, he did so well singing “Hey There Delilah” (by Plain White Ts ) that he sounded even better than the lead singer.
