Low Budget “2001: A Space Odyssey” Parody | Kubrick Film Remade for $5

Stanley Kubrick’s epic science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey was a special effects pioneer that set the standard for movies to come. But what if it didn’t have that big budget? Well it might have looked a little something like this.

This short movie helps us imagine what Kubrick’s classic would have been like if it were made for just $5. Sure, it’s not the masterpiece of the original, but it does have a lot of heart and humor.

Something tells me this movie wouldn’t have stood up as a cinematic classic, but it is an awful lot of fun.
