Luke and Joel are making their mark on The X Factor Australia competition, not because they’re the best singers but because they’re becoming the most original artists.
While other acts are delivering carbon copies of the original songs, these brothers from Newcastle are putting their own stamp on the tunes. This version of The Beach Boys’ “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” shows just what unique artists they’re becoming.
I’m not expecting everyone to like this rock-tinged cover. I’m sure there are plenty of music purists who would loathe it. But it’s certainly not forgettable. And when you’re trying to win votes, that might just be the most important thing.
