This video demonstrates this perfectly, with MADtv mocking the media’s obsession with asking leading questions in the aftermath of these sorts of incidents.
While this is funny it’s also making an important point. That your opinion on a news event will be influenced by the news channel you watch.
Fox News will inevitably blame the victim, and defend the police. While a more liberal outlet, such as CNN, will spin a story the other way.
The truth is often lurking somewhere between these two extremes.
