Magical Paper Lanterns Video | Polish Release Thousands of Lanterns

21 sec read

In a world starved of real magic, it’s thrilling to see a video as beautiful as this one. It shows the citizens of Poznan, Poland, releasing 8000 floating paper lanterns into the night sky to celebrate the shortest night of the year. And what a celebration it is!

As this video shows, the effect is just as beautiful as you might expect. I imagine that in person it would have been even more breathtaking, but you get the idea.

I only celebrate the night of Summer Solstice by getting some early shut eye. It seems I really need to up my game!
