Mumford and Sons aren’t to everyone’s tastes, but their songs may just be the magic ingredient needed to make Miley Cyrus suck less.
I have a little confession to make: I think Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus is quite good. The lyrics are heartfelt and meaningful, the chorus is catchy, and Cyrus doesn’t do a bad job on the singing front either.
However, the verses are a little boring, like they’re missing something. And the video ruins the whole thing, cheapening the song and making Cyrus look desperate.
By adding the backing track from Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons, and adding a brand new video which is classy and artistic, Wrecking Ball suddenly becomes very, very good. Genius.
