I agree with you AJ. No disrespect to his teenage audience, but it’s also so refreshing to hear from someone else who can see this kid really has so much more going for him than his good looks. He can interpret a lyric better than a lot of guys twice his age – if this is what he can do at 16 it blows my mind just how good he will be.

I flicked channels to Australian Idol a few weeks ago and happened upon Matt Corby kicking off ‘Gotta Get You Into My Life’. As an older viewer (35 yrs) I was STUNNED at how good this was. Not only is it a classic song but his performance was just magical. I don’t know what the rest of the contestants can knock out but hands down, this man should be on the airwaves. How does someone this young, get his voice so good, and get the groove SO right??
