Megaupload Taken Down, Anonymous Fights Back (Video) | Justice.gov & FBI.gov Hacked

24 sec read

For those of you that illegally download music or watch movies online, you may be disappointed to find out that megaupload.com is no longer up. Due to a court case, the 4 owners of the site are in jail and their property has been sized.

Online hacktivist group Anonymous, responded by temporarily shutting sites like Justice.gov and FBI.gov.

I for one, am against SOPA and PIPA and glad that Anonymous is involved with fighting back for the freedoms that currently exist on the internet. Organized activism is always a good choice to fight back, especially when there are more of “us” than “them.”

Thank god for other fileshareing hosts for not shutting down.
