Who are you kidding? Monster trucks may be a purely entertainment based motor sport but what motor sport isn't? There have been deaths in almost every form of racing involving drivers, crew and even spectators. So don't sit online and preach your naieve rhetoric to anyone. You stated it, you have never been to a monster truck event/show. So, how could you possibly have any kind of rational statement to make about it? Shut your mouth and keep to yourself when you don't know what you are talking about. Go back to the hole of a world you live in because obviously you're in the minority in your thinking. These shows regularly and repeatidly sell out their venues. County fairs to mega stadiums. Millions of people love to go see monster trucks. Get a clue. The man died tragically and there is no taking away from that. But clearly, he was the one at fault. Who walks out in the street without looking? nobody because you know you'll probably get hit. Look at the video, he clearly walks out of the tunnel withou looking both ways. Sadly his life was taken by something he had passion for. But, that doesn't mean the whole motorsport is ridiculous. Where were you when Dale Earndhardt died? How about when Alex Zinardi lost his legs in the indy car race or the young Greg Moore lost his life on the track? Where were you when a random Joe Shmoe was killed at his local track racing his car in front of his friends and family? Nowhere. So stop talking.
