I really loved the shit out of the first Machete, so when I heard they were doing sequels I figured it was going to be outrageous. The first movie, was, after all a complete farce on action movies and over-the-top effects were rampant.
I’m not really a fan of Lady Gaga’s music, but for this type of movie I personally think she’d be great.
I find Gaga’s music pretty cheesily abstract (if that makes any sense), so I’m sure they’ll give her more than just a cameo. From what we are shown in this teaser, she looks to be a character that might be similar to Jessica Alba in the first movie.
A third sequel is already set for release in 2015 and this one is currently being filmed.
