Just hours ago, the Senate passed a very nasty piece of legislation which a lot of people are calling “unconstitutional.”
In case you didn’t know, this allows the U.S. military to pick up and imprison without charge or trial civilians (including American citizens) anywhere in the world, increases the national defense budget by over $600 Billion and keeps Guantanamo Bay open.
This is probably one of the best rants by The Young Turks that I’ve ever seen. They couldn’t be more right about Obama. “We were supposed to get change!”
Personally, I find this act a horrible violation of my rights and I will not be voting for Obama this next election.
