Marvel has actually made a movie based on the Guardians Of The Galaxy comic books.
This isn’t like The Avengers, with Gods like Thor teaming up with near-indestructable heroes like Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk. It’s something different altogether.
This video shows the first official trailer for the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie adaptation, due to be released Aug. 1, 2014.
Story details are kept to a bare minimum, with the trailer instead focussing on introducing us to the characters; an eclectic mix of criminals who aren’t all bad.
This represents Marvel heading in a different direction, with characters not universally known. The trailer has persuaded me to see Guardians Of The Galaxy though, and I doubt I’m alone in that.
