I was a teenager when the whole Y2K bug disaster terror starting hitting the headlines, and I remember laughing.
Though I didn’t know much about computers then, I wondered how something so incredible as a computer could be taken down by something as simple as a date change. I know there was more to it than that, but the idea did amuse me.
Alas, yet again humanity has survived another predicted horror that would crash civilization as we know it and force us back into the dark ages.
