Not to condone anything this psychopath did, but the guy did just got three life sentences handed down to him. There isn’t much worse penalty he can receive, and pretty much everyone in that courtroom despised him. You’d probably flip a bird or two in his sick-ass shoes.
He used the time given to convicted criminals in these cases to insult and laugh at the families of the deceased and wounded, all of which are considered protected speech under the first amendment.
This is a perfect example where the officers in charge of protecting the defendant earn their paychecks. But I’m pretty sure we can all agree that “Had I been there, I would’a shot that fool.” Or shanked him. And then locked him up with those crazy raping teens that deserve the lovin’ he has to offer.
Someone’s gotta initiate them into the prison life, right?
