    This deputy sheriff should be prosecuted for illegal discharge of a firearm in a residential area and removed from the department. He had plenty of time to return to his vehicle instead of shooting. In addition, the sheriff should be forced to properly instruct his force on when to use a firearm. Too many police in the united states shoot first and ask questions later. This has to stop and police must be held accountable for recless actions.
