President Obama last night gave the State Of The Union address for 2013. He spoke for over an hour, but the edited highlights can be pared down to just a few minutes. ABC News did just that.
Obama spoke about the economy and his plans to help kick-start it once more, as well as the role of government, foreign policy, and the importance of at least having a vote on gun control.
As is the norm these days social networking sites focused not on the important stuff but things like the fist pump and the fact that Joe Biden was wearing spectacles.
Whatever you think of Obama he is the President of the United States for another four years, so he should be afforded some respect. Whether he’ll solve anything remains to be seen.
